Commissions - Business Brokers charge 10% for businesses valued at less than $1,000,000.
A Double Lehman commission is for Multi-Million dollar businesses and is calculated as follows:
For example, if you broker a $3,000,000 business, your commission would be $240,000.
Retainers – Generally expected on larger deals. We typically charge $2,500 paid at the time of the engagement.
Consulting – This can be just about anything. You can get paid to facilitate mergers, improve financial performance, or restructure debt.
