Kelly started his career nearly 40 years ago as a commercial loan officer in the banking system. There he financed business start-ups, operations, and on-going cash needs for businesses. Kelly left banking to become a partner in an investment banking and business consulting firm. He has owned over 15 privately held companies, and is also the founder of a distribution company that was acquired by Cintas, a Fortune 500 Company. He has over 20 years of experience as a mergers and acquisitions advisor with clients throughout the United States. Having been engaged as an Advisor on transaction from $250K to $75MM he has a deep knowledge base and experience as an M&A Advisor. Mr. Shaw is the author of several books including the Complete Guide to Selling Your Business. He is married and the father of 5 children and 14 grandchildren. He holds a BA in International Relations with an emphasis on International Business. In his spare time he enjoys golf, racquetball, fly fishing and woodworking.
