Bob was born and raised in Sutherlin, Oregon. After graduating from high school, he married Teresa, his high school sweetheart. He briefly attended college before joining the U.S. Navy, where he served honorably from 1975 to 1980.

Following his military service, Bob pursued higher education and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He launched his career at Laventhol & Horwath CPAs, an international accounting firm, and by 1989, he became a partner in several CPA firms. In 1995, he sold his practice and began collaborating with clients to grow and transition their companies successfully. His efforts culminated in the successful transition of his final client’s business in 2005.

Bob then reestablished his CPA firm, which he operated until 2020, when he sold it to one of his sons. In 2021, he expanded his professional pursuits by earning his Real Estate Salesperson License and joining the Bristol Group as a business broker.

Bob is most proud of his enduring marriage, raising five wonderful children, all of whom have married exceptionally, and being an active grandfather to 15 energetic grandchildren. Over his career, Bob has guided hundreds of individuals through successful business transitions, and he looks forward to leveraging his expertise to serve you.
